Canopy Zipline Tours

Known throughout Panama as one of the finest canopy tour sites operating in the country, Panama Outdoor Adventures in Rio Piedra in the Colon Province features 9 cables along its course of tree-top zip-lines. Each span sends the guest soaring through the jungle at heights that only the tree dwellers of the canopy can experience. The longest line on the tour is over 220 meters and provides a glimpse of one of the most stunning views of the jungle in the region!

River Tubing

The site that Panama Outdoor Adventures sits on is surrounded by the Rio Piedra, or “Stony River”. The river offers a great view of the surrounding jungle where you can view plant and animal life unique to Central America and Panama. Enjoy splashing, swimming, swinging from one of the rope swings, or just floating along as the world passes you by. Visitors may rent an inner tube to float on and guides will accompany you as you soak in tranquility.

Jungle Camping

Panama Outdoor Adventures offers camping sites within the jungle canopy, only 3-5 minutes walk along the trail from the center of the site. There are currently six available sites with 3 of them being situated near each other for larger groups with multiple tents. While there is no available electricity at this time, the tap water comes from a natural spring and is suitable for drinking and there are toilet facilities on site.

Nature Trails

There are currently 3 primary trails that radiate out from the center of the site to access the river.  The trails are clearly marked and maintained and all pass under a dense canopy of jungle vegetation.  We encourage visitors to relax after a canopy tour and take a walk on our trails to wind down and soak up the peace and beauty found in our jungle.
